Representatives of about 50 school districts and education employers from Texas, Arizona and Wisconsin will meet with prospective teachers during Angelo State University’s annual Teacher Job Fair on Tuesday, April 4, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St. 

The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the Stephens Arena. It is open to ASU students who will graduate in May with teacher certification, as well as any current certified teachers seeking employment or considering relocation. 

Scheduled to attend are representatives from the San Angelo Independent School District, as well as school districts in Abilene, Andrews, Balmorhea, Bangs, Big Spring, Brownwood, Burkburnett, Burnet, Christoval, Coleman, Ector County, Ferris, Fort Stockton, Grape Creek, Hereford, Killeen, Llano, Lohn, Longview, Loraine, Lubbock, Magnolia, McCamey, Menard, Merkel, Mesquite, Midland, Monahans-Wickett-Pyote, Paint Rock, Rochelle, San Antonio, San Saba, Seminole, Snyder, Sonora, Stanton, Sterling City, Sweetwater, Taylor, Terrell County, Uvalde and Wylie. 

Also attending will be representatives of the ASU College of Education, Association of Texas Professional Educators, Shannon Health, Texas Teachers, Region 9 Education Service Center, Teacher Job Network, School District of Beloit, Wis., and Whiteriver Unified School District of Whiteriver, Ariz.
