San Angelo fire fighters were dispatched out last night to a three alarm warehouse fire downtown. The department dispatched eight trucks to the scene of the fire to keep the fire from spreading to adjacent properties. The location of the fire was at 131 W. 4th Street which is the home of Lone Star Moving warehouse. The fire consumed the furniture and wooden moving crates that were stored in the warehouse.

The good news is that no one was injured during this grueling fire and the City Fire Marshals Office is still doing its investigation to determine the cause of the fire. City officials say that over one million gallons of water were used to contain the blaze. At 7am this morning fire crews were relieved by new shift of fresh fire fighters, and all but 3 trucks returned to normal stations. The three trucks on scene continued to put out hot spot flares from the collapsed roof.
