San Angelo State Park Events & Activities

I visited with Linda Ashton who is with Friends of the State Park this morning on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' to bring you up to date as to some of the things coming up.

Linda first talked about some of the things that have been going on recently like the controlled burn they conducted, the big hike they had, and told us about recent new facilities added to the park.

She also said that there is a big hog hunt this weekend but that the park would remain open. The hunt will be taking place in just one area of our very large State Park.

Linda also told us about Shannon Trail and their running series which is about to get underway.

And finally she gave us contact information for these events as well as for general questions about activities and events within the park.
