You may have seen me post on Facebook, only twice, about how annoying all the political posts are.  I'm pretty fed up with all these extreme people who are quite hypocritical.

There is so much going on in the United States that is very important... What's the deal with posting all the extreme political stuff on Facebook.  I once counted 20 back to back extreme political posts in my news feed from one guy.  That is ridiculous and man let me tell you, if you actually believe half the stuff in said posts you might be a little on the naive side.

I read a post about Chick-Fil-A the other day where the author had the moxy to say 'Why does the president of Chick-Fil-A, one of the four icons of the Amican food industry along with Wendy Thomas, Colonel Sanders and Ronald McDonald, think they have the right to have an opinion?'.  Prime example, just because the guy is the president of a company means he can't have an opinion?  That's like saying I can't have an opinion because I can influence people on the radio.  I have numerous opinions, ask my friends and they'll tell you I have more than I should but I keep them to myself.  Well, until now I guess.  That being said I am NOT taking a side on the Chick-Fil-A debate nor am I taking a side on any other issue.  That was simply an example.  There are other things more important such as child hunger, homelessness, curing illnesses and so on.

If you really want to 'stick it to the man' get off your butt and actually go vote.  So many people that complain about things going wrong in this country that say 'Oh my vote doesn't count' and you know what, you're right.  It doesn't count because you don't contribute to the well being of the country.  Quit protesting and occupying or whatever it is you're doing that's going to 'change things' and do something that will actually make a difference.  Heck, maybe get a job too.  Okay, I'm off my soapbox now.  Have a great weekend and don't forget, Keep Calm and Chive On.
