Fall is bringing a lot of activities and events to the Concho Valley and we are ready to give you our weekly overview of what is going on. This week brings you ASU's Concho Valley College Night, Angelo Theater has a production for you, there is a huge book sale, An Annual Breakfast for a Cure, 'America On Tap' beer fest, A pink Ribbon Run, and much more.

This Tuesday, Sept. 29th  ASU will host Concho Valley College Night, an opportunity for area high school and community college students and their parents to meet with representatives of more than 40 colleges, universities and military branches, in the Houston Harte University Center from 6 - 7:30 p.m. . Come Back to the Five and Dime with James Dean at the Angelo Theater This Thursday, Oct.1st - Sun. October 4th. In a small town dime store in West Texas, the "Disciples of James Dean" gather for their twentieth reunion. For more information, call 325-949-4400.

Come check out the Best Little Book Sale in Texas at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 11 N. Park Street Thursday - Monday, Oct.1st - 5th. Preview night will be Oct. 1st from 5:30 pm - 9 pm. The Local Authors Festival will also be held Oct. 1st from 7 pm - 8:30 pm.

Schneider Distributing invites everyone to come by and join in on their Breakfast for a Cure this Friday, Oct. 2nd from 7:30 - 10 am. Enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast burrito for your generous donation to benefit the American Cancer Society. During the month of October, Schneider will also donate 10 cents per gallon of propane sold to help in the fight against breast cancer.

This Saturday, October 3rd, Townsquare Media brings you "America on Tap", a huge Beer Festival  from 1 pm - 6 pm at the San Angelo Fairgrounds. This event will showcase over 100 craft beers from some excellent breweries in and out of San Angelo, along with craft beers from some of San Angelo's top pubs and clubs. San Angelo's Elks Lodge is having a Garage Sale on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 8 am til noon at 2121 South Chadbourne. Everyone is invited to check out the great deals, and if you would like to donate to the sale that benefits youth and military veteran's programs, call 227-6920.

This Saturday, Oct. 3rd brings you another 1st Saturday celebration at the Chicken Farm Art Center, a monthly celebration of art, music and community.
